Creating a Parsnips Bookmarklet

As previously described, it is easy to create an item for the web page currently displayed in your browser by dragging the icon from the location bar onto either the drop window or the left half of the main window. However, you can make this process even easier by placing a bookmarklet in your browser's bookmarks toolbar.

In most browsers, to create the bookmarklet, drag the following link: Send To Parsnips and drop it onto your browser's bookmark toolbar. Alternatively, in many browsers you can right click the link and use the popup menu to add it to your Bookmarks (or Favorites in Internet Explorer).

After the bookmarklet is in place, whenever you are viewing a web page that you would like to add to Parsnips, just click the Send to Parsnips button or in Internet Explorer, just choose the Send To Parsnips favorite.

Note: the Bookmarklet is not compatible with Internet Explorer on Mac OS X.
